After 4 nights in the hospital Justin was discharged on his due date. Carl and I joked that he wanted to go back because he missed the nurses and his pod mates and also because he never had a chance to stay in the progressive care nursery (PCN). Normally babies are admitted to the intensive care nursery (Pods 4 & 5) and then transition to PCN to gain weight and learn how to nipple and are ultimately discharged from there. But Justin remained in the intensive care pod because of his staph infection. So now that he got to experience PCN there's no need to go back, lol.Justin was discharged just in time to watch the Lions loose yet again. We didn't get a chance to put him in the Lions onesie since it hadn't been washed yet but he was still dressed appropriately for Sunday football.
I can't believe how "big" Justin is getting. Good thing you know CPR and Carl was home. You are a stronger person than I to deal with all this and still be sain. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how much he's looking like himself. he still looks like Carl a lot, but he looks like he's getting bigger and healthier by the day. Oh, did he really watch the game, or did Carl just happened to be holding him while the game was on? LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that Eddie thinks Justin looks like himself. I was analyzing the pictures and trying to decide who he looks like now and well... Eddie said it best: Justin looks like Justin.
