Carl and I need to open a hospital or get into
health care somehow. I totaled all of Justin's medical bills from birth to date and the total is $797,498.41. That is crazy. Fortunately Justin is covered under both my insurance and Carl's but can you imagine if we didn't have any health insurance. I'm still nervous though that there will be some bills trickling through but for now we haven't got anything. But I'm not holding my breathe because this is Henry Ford we're talking about. I just got a bill for services rendered in 2006 so who knows.
whoa that is very crazy. it was nearing $1 million. thank goodness he is double insured or yall wouldve been paying on that forever.

ReplyDeleteThat is just crazy. It really is a good thing that you have double coverage for him, this will help greatly reduce if not eliminate the out of pocket costs for you guys. Just make sure if you do get a bill for something that the hospital billed it correctly. From working at BlueCross I can tell you that the main reason medically necessary claims don't get paid is because the provider billed them incorrectly.
