Justin's little cousin

Aiden Ray was born June 3, 2009 at 10:04 pm, weighing 5 lbs, 4 ozs & 18.5 inches long. I am grateful that Carlene and Ray allowed me to be in the delivery room; watching the birth of my nephew was absolutely amazing. And I must add that Carlene was awesome. She was induced Tuesday afternoon so things started out pretty slow. By 5 pm the following day she was only 4 cm dilated so they gave her pitocin to help jump start her contractions. When they checked her at 8:30 she had dilated to 5 cm. About an hour later she was feeling a lot of pressure and the urge to push and when they checked her she was fully dilated. She started pushing at 10 o'clock and 3 pushes later Aiden was born.
