3 weeks, 21 days...

until Nathan's arrival. I have an amnio scheduled for Monday, February 22nd and if Nathan's lungs are mature I'll have a c-section on Tuesday, February 23rd. And just in case Mr. Nathan decides to make an early arrival it's nice to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. But since I've already had the steroid shots I'm pretty hopeful that Nathan's lungs will be mature and he won't require any NICU time.
