6 month appointment

Yesterday Nathan had his 6 month check up and got another round of vacinnations which Carl said he handled pretty well. Our little chunky monkey (which by the way is an oxymoron, isn't it, lol) is doing very well. He's pushing up, rolling, sitting unassisted, and reaching for objects.

He's drinking 7 ozs of breastmilk/formula 3-4 times a day and nursing at night. He's eating 2-3 tablespoons of either rice or oatmeal cereal for breakfast and a package of Stage 1 baby foods for dinner. So far he's had green beans, sweet potatoes, peaches and applesauce. We'll add other fruits and vegetables in the next week or so and start adding meats and some finger foods in a few months.

Dr. Hirsch told us that he should be sleeping 8-10 hours at night but she really should've told Mr. Nathan that because that's obviously not happening, lol. She gave some suggestions so we'll see.
