5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. I was going through the alphabet with the boys and when I got to M I said M, paused for a moment and then said M is for mama and Nathan gave me the biggest grin.

2. Justin and Nathan each have their own "My Very Own Name" book which I often read right before I put the boys to bed. I was reading to Nathan and J climbed up on the glider with us and started spelling Nathan's name.

3. Nathan took his first steps this week. It's so cute seeing him take more and more steps each day. Obviously he's still very wobbly but he's already figuring out how to catch his balance.

4. I was trying to keep Justin distracted while Carlene cut his hair so I kept telling J that he was being a good boy. As Carlene was finishing he looked up at me and said "good boy".

5. Nathan seems to understand when I ask him for a kiss. The first time I asked for a kiss he opened his mouth really wide and slobbed me down. Last night he leaned into me and gave me a peck on the lips.
