As always, here are 5 +1 special reasons I'm loving my boys:
1. The boys were in our bedroom while Carl put their toddler beds together. It was way past their bedtime and they were out of their routine because of the move so I was rocking Nathan to sleep. When J climbed in the chair with us and started talking I said "J, I'm trying to put your brother to sleep" so he started whispering and then said "shhh, quiet".
2. I was trying to get the boys upstairs; Justin was at the foot of the stairs with me but Nathan was lingering in the living room so I called out "Nathan, upstairs" and J shouted after me "Come on Nate Nate".
3. The boys and I were singing Old McDonald Had A Farm and each boy picked out an animal. Nathan started us off with a cow and on the next verse Justin yelled out pig. That's the first time either of them called out an animal, usually they just make the sounds with me.
4. Justin and Nathan loved sharing a bed the first week we were in our new house. When I went in to check on them they were cuddled up together. One night I found Justin laying on top of Nathan. It would've been extra cute if Justin hadn't stripped himself completely naked and had his butt laying on Nathan's face.
5. Justin was such a big helper during the move; he helped us tape boxes and smooth out the tape and he helped label each box.
6. After we met with Justin's new teacher and toured the school I told J that he was a big boy and that he was starting school Monday and I was surprised when he repeated after me "big boy start school Monday". Then I told him his teacher's name and asked him to repeat after me and he said Ms. Dawson.
