As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:
1. Justin grabbed a sippy cup out of the cabinet and then asked his dad for juice. When he saw Carl grab a juice box out of the fridge he turned around, put the sippy cup back, closed the cabinet door and ran to the fridge to collect his juice box.
2. Carl and I were goofing around and I pinched him on his arm. When he said ouch I playfully told him to "man up" and Nathan repeated after me "man up".
3. About 5 minutes into our drive to school I heard Justin playing with the velcro straps on his shoes and then I heard a thud. When I turned around I saw that he had taken his shoes off and put his socks on his hands. But when we pulled up to the school he took them off his hands and put them on his feet. Then he pulled out the handle on his book bag and started making his way to the door and then stood there looking at the entrance to school.
4. Nathan is becoming quite the pianist; Carl and I were finishing dinner while the boys played in the family room and Nathan started playing his piano and then singing along. When he finished we told him great job but that must not have been enough praise for him because he picked up the piano, carried it into the kitchen and started playing and singing again.
5. I was sitting on an ottoman in the family room and Justin walked up to me and gave me a big hug. Then he backed up, gave me a smile, opened his arms and said "hug?".
