5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. As told by Carlene: J came to Aiden's rescue during school drop off. AJ kept telling a girl that she was his girlfriend and the girl told him unh unh you're not my boyfriend so J walked up to the little girl, put his finger in her face and told her "you will be his girlfriend".

2. As told by Carlene: Nate is all about the flag; this is the third day picking him up and he runs to the flag pole, grabs a hold and hugs it tight while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and won't let go until he's finished. And today he recruited a friend to tag along with him.

3. I got myself locked in the bathroom so I yelled out to the boys "I need help" and when the boys ran to the door J said "oh no, mommy I help you" and told Carl to "open please". Then Nate said "I need help me mommy".

4. Nate kept going back and forth between our bedroom and my MIL's room and as soon as he entered each room he'd say "hi mommy/nana, how are you today".

5. I got home from grocery shopping and Nate had on his Elmo bookbag. I followed him into the playroom and he took the book bag off and started filling it with more stuff. When I asked what he was doing he told me he was filling up his bag to show and share with his friends.
