First attempt at solids = success

Justin had cereal for the first time today and he took to it pretty well. It was messy, but he seemed to like it and didn't spit out too much. After a few spoonfuls he started opening his mouth for it and he was trying to eat the cereal off his bib. And just in case you're wondering, he's still on oxygen, but we figured solids would be messy so it was easier to try and feed him without his cannula.

    Look at Justin eating like a big boy!!!! He seems a little more interested in the camera than eating though. LOL

    2. I'm glad he took so well to the cereal. Richard just asked me last night if it was time for Justin to start eating solids.
    3. And Sarah is right about Justin working the camera. He did a better job of following it than many contestants on American Idol. lol

    aww so cute. hopefully he'll gain more weight now that he likes cereal.

    Your video voice isn't half bad. Most people sound squeaky (me included) on video.. but you sound normal.

    He's starting to look a lot like Carl - sorry Georgy!

    georgina was that you or carlene feeding him? for some reason your voice sounded more like carlene.

    anywho...good job! i hear that cereal really sticks them too and "fattens" babies up. which is why my son will not be having cereal...he is "fat" enough. LOL. anywho...i know justin used to have cereal in his bottle so its cool to see him eating it as a solid now.
