5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. Justin picked up a tambourine that's shaped liked an A and then said "A-apple, B-baby, C-car, cat". He then mumbled a few other letters before yelling out "O-okay".

2. I came home from work and Carl met me at the door laughing hysterically and then said "babe, you missed the performance of a lifetime". When I walked in the house I saw Nathan's diaper hanging out of his shorts. He danced so hard that he came out of his diaper. Unfortunately I can't load the video that Carl took, it was hilarious.  If we can figure out how to load it I'll post later.

3. We were leaving a b-day party and Carl opened up the door to put the boys in. I was holding Nathan but as we were standing outside of the car talking to the b-day girl's mom Justin decided to climb in the truck and put himself in his car seat and put his arms through the straps. Mind you, he got in on the opposite side of where his car seat was so he had to climb over Nathan's seat to get to his.

4. Nathan's warming up to new foods. He still loves his bread based foods and does great with waffles, pancakes and toast. But now he'll also eat oatmeal, cream of broccoli soup and sometimes spaghettios.

5. I was changing Nathan's diaper Sunday morning and thought Justin was still asleep. After I finished with Nathan I walked in J's room to check on him and found him in his chair reading a book. You've heard this before so you're probably thinking yeah, no big deal, right? But that morning J had turned on the light; he pushed his chair towards the door so he could reach the light. I guess it was too dark for reading.
