5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. The boys were eating breakfast when Lalla dropped Ari off for daycare. When J saw Ari he covered his food like he was protecting it because Ari was making a beeline right to him. Side note, Ari has stolen J's food in the past.

2. The boys had their first happy meal this week and both of them went to town; Nathan loved the fries and J loved the nuggets. We've had an issue with getting J to bite off pieces of his own food, usually we have to break it into pieces before he'll eat it. But instead of putting the entire nugget in his mouth he grabbed it and took bites until he finished it.

3. Nathan was trying to climb out of his crib and when I asked what he was doing he looked at me as if to say "mom you know exactly what I'm doing" and then laughed.

4. Nathan loves to dance. While I was ironing my clothes I made a remix of Janet Jackson's Nasty Boy called Chunky Boy and Nate went crazy in his crib running back and forth, bopping up and down and giving me a little shoulder action.

5. Thursday morning I stood outside of Nathan's door listening to him have a full blown conversation with himself; change in inflection, pausing between sentences. I wonder what he was talking about, it sure sounded interesting.
