5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. Nathan was playing with sing along Elmo in the living room and started repeating some of the words in the song and then spelled out Elmo.

2. I love giving my boys kisses and 9 times out of ten they willingly offer them up. So one morning I woke up and went into Nathan's room and gave him a kiss through the crib slats and he smiled at me.

3. I was reading the boys a bedtime story, actually Nathan's favorite, Dr. Seuss' "Hand Hand Fingers". Justin was sitting in my lap and Nathan was sitting in J's toddler chair with his back to us, intently playing with a toy. But when he heard the first page of the story he turned around and looked at me and smiled.  While Justin likes this book I wouldn't say it's his favorite. So before I could even finish the story he shut the book for me, slid off my lap, grabbed another book and handed it to me saying "read, read".

4. Carl bought some new workout balls and was blowing them up in the living room. This was a manual pump, one you use your foot to inflate. As soon as Nathan saw Carl pressing the pedal he immediately started imitating the motions and then started dancing to the beat of the pump.  Justin ignored it, that is, until one of the balls was blown up and then of course he was all in trying to carry the ball which was bigger than him.

5. Carlene and Aiden were outside as I was backing out of the garage. Carlene's car was a little close to mine so I had to maneuver my way out and once I did Aiden started clapping and yelling "Yay TT".
