As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:
1. We were on our way home from Carlene's and I guess I got a little impatient with the driver ahead of me who was making a left hand turn and yelled out "Go, go". No sooner than I completed my turn Justin yelled out go, go and kept saying it all the way home.
2. I got this message from my sister while at work "Nate likes apples...so far he has taken 4 bites of my apple....wait he took it from me, walked away, and is going to town on MY apple." Yay for progress; we've really struggled with getting him to eat fruits and vegetables.
3. Justin was eating dinner for the 3rd time; he had chicken nuggets when he got home from school, then about an hour later he had yogurt and a cereal bar and then when I got home from work he had stir fry. Carl and I were reminiscing about the feeding/weight struggles we've had and how we love how greedy he is now. So I said "when he asks for food I'll willingly give it to him, even cookies". But I spelled out the word cookie because I didn't want him to hear me say it and ask for it before he finished his dinner. But it didn't matter, as soon as I spelled it out he yelled out cookie.
4. Our little dance machine (Nathan) will dance to anything with a beat. I walked into our bedroom and Nathan had taken the phone off the hook and was bouncing up and down to the dial tone. Sometimes he even makes up his own beat and starts dancing.
5. In the morning I open the boys' bedroom doors to let them get up on their own while I finish getting ready. Nathan normally promptly gets up; as I was walking back to my room I turned around and saw Nate leaning at the door and as soon as I turned around he gave me this grin like "yeah, I'm cute". Then as I was changing Nate's diaper Justin walked into Nate's room, smiled at me and laid on Nate's bed.
