5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. It seems Justin likes jazz just like his dad; he's been hanging out in Carl's office recently and the other day Carl called me into the office, turned on the music and Justin immediately started humming and singing along with the music "bada da da da, ooh eee". And he puckers his lips when he does the ooh eee, too cute!

2. Nathan seems to have developed a feet fetish. This weekend Carl's mom visited with the boys and as soon as she took her shoes off Nathan followed her around trying to lay on her feet. A few days later we were in the family room and I had my feet on the ottoman and he laid his head on my feet.

3. Nathan was throwing a tantrum and Justin walked over to him to comfort him; he told him to calm down, patted his head and his back and then gave him a hug.

4. Justin had an eye infection so he had a lot of gook in his eye. As I was trying to clean it out I swore J said to me "you're mean". Later that day Carl took a toy away from J and I heard him tell Carl the same thing. I'm so excited he used the phrase in the proper context that I didn't even think about him calling me mean.

5. Carl was going over vocabulary with Justin and having him repeat words after him but when Carl said monkey, instead of repeating monkey J started making monkey noises.
