Bookbags & Boots

I got home from grocery shopping yesterday morning to find Nate packing his book bag full of goodies.  He carried the book bag around ALL day.  After lunch he found my boots, put them on and walked around the house in them the ENTIRE afternoon.  Even today he's asking me where are his boots.  

Crazy/Silly Things My Kids Do

- Nathan purposefully spilled water on the floor, stepped in it and then walked over to me and wiped his feet off on my feet.

- Nathan drinks/licks the excess syrup left on his plate and after he's finished he grabs the syrup container and guzzles down more syrup.

- Justin stripped off all his clothes, started shivering and proclaimed how cold it was.  Then he went from room to room collecting every blanket he could find and wrapped himself up in them. 

Grown Little Men

These boys of mine continue to make me smile and laugh as they grow and explore:

- grab my phone or Carl's iPad, run into their room and then open up their favorite apps
- open cabinets and refrigerator to get water, juice,  cookies or yogurt
- eject DVD from TV/DVD player and put in a new one
- Nathan grabs his vitamins and then hands them to me to open
- grab one of my makeup brushes or combs and stand next to me and imitate me primping

Crazy/Silly Things My Kids Do

 - Justin walks into the house (any house) and strips completely naked.  When I dropped the boys off Carlene and I went into the basement for less than a minute and when we came back upstairs J's clothes were nowhere to be found.

- Nathan picked a booger out of his nose and then tried to eat it. Now this is crazy on multiple levels but mainly because the boy will try to eat unedible things but not new food we introduce, go figure. 

- Justin runs out of his bedroom in the morning, climbs in bed with Nathan and then starts snoring when I tell him to go to the bathroom.

- Nathan likes to suck dirty washclothes after we give him a bath, yuck!  He also likes to dip his hands in the toilet and then lick the water off, double yuck!! 

- Justin loves watching the water go down the toilet  bowl after flushing and practically puts his face on the toilet seat to watch.

The Super Jones'

The boys had a blast jumping off of the step stool so the crazy/silly parents decided to join in on the fun.  Without further ado, let me introduce you to the Super Joneses!!!

Crazy/Silly Things My Kids Do

I get the following text from Carlene:

I should write a book about all the unbelievable stuff kids do...story of the day - took the kids outside to play.  Justin went behind the garage and disappeared.  AJ kept asking me where is Justin over and over again.  Couldn't find him anywhere.  2 minutes later I see him playing with the neighbors kids in the yard behind us.  This lil monkey climbed the tall fence to play hide n seek.

Of course my heart sank when I saw 2 minutes; it's a good thing she sent me that AFTER she found him. 

Crazy/Silly Things My Kids Do

• walk around the house sucking on a tube of toothpaste
• play in the dark
• drop things on purpose and then say oops
• wear socks on their hands
• strip naked and then wrap up in a blanket
• knock on the refrigerator/cabinet doors and yell hello
• sit on the potty to pee and then stand up and pee all over the bathroom floor
• run into our room, scream at the top of their lungs while they run in a circle around the bed, then turn around and run back into their room
• eat food off the floor
• sit on the potty chair fully dressed
