Cliff's Adventures: Week 1

Our elf Cliff made his appearance shortly after Thanksgiving.  Only a week in and he's been making his rounds around the house.

Cliff left the boys a note on his first day back

Cliff was bummed he missed the pirate party on our cruise

Taking a ride on the shelf in Nate's room

I guess Cliff was thirsty and got into the boys juice boxes

Cliff is a Lions fan too

X-Mas With Friends

Last Saturday we had friends over for our annual friends x-mas celebration with arts and crafts, cookie decorating and gifts for the kids, white elephant gift exchange for the adults and every family had family photos taken. The kids loved their gifts and the white elephant exchange was pretty fun.

X-Mas Photo Shoots

Last year's holiday card of the boys in their x-mas PJ's was a big hit with their teachers so I had already planned on doing that again.  Good thing too, because at Nate's field trip in early December his teacher excitedly asked if they were going to get another picture and that she loved last years and it was still up on her fridge.  Needless to say this years card was another hit.  I got plenty of "this looks like a GAP ad" or "you should put them in modeling".

Christmas day we decided to put on our x-mas shirts and play around with lights in our living room.  I really wanted nice Bokeh x-mas pictures so still need some practice but they came out okay for my first attempt.

Merry X-Mas

The boys were so excited for X-Mas this year which is probably why I went a little overboard on the gifts.  So even though I was really sick and pretty much on my deathbed it was so worth it to see their faces X-Mas morning.  They both went straight to the Home Depot workbench that Santa brought.  Next on the list for Nathan was his Hug Me Elmo, also from Santa.  It was such a big hit that he didn't want to open any other gifts.  Justin loved his Buzz Lightyear from Santa and like Nate almost didn't want to open his other gifts but he did.  Needless to say we had two happy little boys!
