10 Year Anniversary

I was going through my drafts and saw I never posted this smh!  Carl and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in May (2015).  Here are some of my favorites from our session with Shaleena of LeoSage Images.

Justin's 7 Year Photo Shoot

I never know quite what I'll get when photographing my boys.  J's session started off slow and he wasn't feeling it, but after letting him relax and turning on the music I was able to capture his personality to a tee.

Nate's 5 Year Photo Shoot

I never know what I'm going to get when photographing the boys.  But turn on some music and just let them play and have fun and it's a given you'll get some great memories!  

X-Mas Photo Shoots

Last year's holiday card of the boys in their x-mas PJ's was a big hit with their teachers so I had already planned on doing that again.  Good thing too, because at Nate's field trip in early December his teacher excitedly asked if they were going to get another picture and that she loved last years and it was still up on her fridge.  Needless to say this years card was another hit.  I got plenty of "this looks like a GAP ad" or "you should put them in modeling".

Christmas day we decided to put on our x-mas shirts and play around with lights in our living room.  I really wanted nice Bokeh x-mas pictures so still need some practice but they came out okay for my first attempt.

Family Photos

Since my mom was in town I thought it'd be a nice idea to have a mini photo shoot.  Surprisingly it only took 2 frames to get this family group shot.  Now the pictures with my mom and her grand kids was a different story. Of course I'd love the perfect picture with everyone looking at the camera smiling, but you know me, I also love a pic that shows their personalities.  And we definitely captured the Brouzins personalities.

Until next year I guess (I can't believe it'll be a whole year before I see my mom again).  Her visits always go by so fast so I'm really hoping next year she'll be able to stay with me.  Last spring she stayed with Carlene since she was getting married.  When my mom came back for the Stark family reunion in June she stayed with Lalla.  And this visit she stayed with Lalla again since she just had RJ.  So although I'd love the Brouzins to grow again, I kind of hope Carlene and Kenny don't decide to have a baby next year and steal my turn away from me lol. Or maybe that'll be a reason for mom to visit twice next year; a girl can hope right!

30 + 5 Photo Shoot

Here are a few of my favorites from my 35th birthday photo shoot, courtesy of my husband.  I was a little nervous about the shoot; when I see photos from Carl's shoots with professional models that I love I was concerned that mine wouldn't be as nice and that I wouldn't be able to "smyze".  But Carl did a great job at putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable behind the camera.  I absolutely love how they turned out.
