End of Year Program
Last week Carl and I attended Justin's preschool end of year program. When I walked in the classroom J looked at me with a puzzled look as if "what are you doing here mommy?" But he was good; he didnt act out or try to come sit with me. Instead he sat in his seat, participated with the program and then looked back at Carl and I after each section to make sure we saw him. It was so cute seeing J interact with his classmates and teachers and I know he'll miss them once school is over. But on the bright side he gets to spend the summer with his Ty C, brother and brouzin. Too bad Ariana won't be there since Lalla's off for the summer but I'm sure they'll have plenty of playdates.
Just like Mrs. Dawson told us J is the loudest singer in the class. You'll notice he didn't sing along with the numbers on "Number Rock" but when it got to the chorus you clearly hear J chime in and clapping along right on beat. I was so proud and couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear!!!

Toddlers & Mirrors
Justin has always LOVED looking at himself in the mirror. And during bathtime the other night, Nathan also seemed to develop a love of mirrors.

Nathan's ABCs
Please excuse my voice, this video was from last week when the boys and I were sick. But Nathan's so cute when he sings his ABCs so I had to capture on video and share.

Nathan's 1st B-Day Party
Time flies when you're having fun, I can't believe our little man is 1. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate Nathan's 1st b-day party today; we really do have the best friends & family. Nathan loves all of his new clothes & toys, but somehow I don't think Carlene will be as appreciative of all the "noisey" toys by the end of the week, lol. No more parties until Nathan turns 5, this was hard work; especially with Carl not being here; but I think/hope everyone had a nice time.

We have a walker
Nathan's been standing on his own and cruising along the furniture for a while now so I was wondering if he would walk before his 1st birthday and he did; he took his first few steps this past weekend. My baby is growing up. The videos are similar but I couldn't figure out which one to post. Besides, I think they're both cute but of course I'm biased.
Check out my new moves!

Fun & Games
Justin and Nathan couldn't get enough of my choo choo train imitation. It's a little loud so you may want to turn your speakers down.

Look What I Can Do
TyC left me downstairs while she went upstairs to get Justin from his nap. Since I've never shown any interest in the stairs she left the security gate at the bottom of the stairs open. But me being the genius that I am, I figured out how to climb the stairs and I think I gave TyC a heart attack when she realized I was on the landing. I later heard her talking on the phone (I think she called mommy) so I don't think they'll be leaving the gate open anymore. But when mommy came home from work I showed her my new trick; check me out.

Day of fun
Well, for the most part since our day started with therapy at 8:15 this morning. Surprisingly it was a very productive session; J drank about 90% of his Pediasure from his sippy cup which he's never done before. Of course it took him just over an hour to finish, but that's still progress. So going forward Hillary wants us to try his first 2 feedings from a sippy cup. His 3rd feeding can continue to be from the bottle while we're transitioning. She also wants us to start feeding him solids before his first bottle/cup of the day to see if he'll eat more.
After therapy we headed to Great Lakes Crossing to shop for summer clothes for the boys. We found some good deals and also splurged on a few things for our future niece. I'm so going to go broke shopping for this little girl, lol!
We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and the boys had a ball while trying out their first kids meal at a restaurant. J willingly munched on french fries and chicken tenders, YAY!

After lunch we let the boys have at it in the play area.

Needless to say both boys were worn out by the end of the day.
