Crossroads Village

This was our 3rd year taking the boys to Crossroads Village for trick or treating and the "spooky" train ride and the boys had a blast.  Everyone seemed to love Nate's cowboy costume and whenever we saw another Scooby Doo J, as well as the other Scooby Doo, got excited.

Halloween 2013

We've taken the boys trick or treating at Crossroads for the past 3 years but today was the first time the boys have actually trick or treated on Halloween.  J has been so excited about Halloween since Crossroads a few weeks ago and keeps saying Halloween & I want my Scooby Doo.  So even though it was raining, the 4 of us braved the weather and went to about 7 houses.  But J wasn't finished; as we were walking up to our house he started crying saying he wanted more so Carl took him out for more trick or treating.  I'm  excited that the boys have finally started understanding holidays/events!

Crossroads Village

Sunday we took the boys to Crossroads Village for trick or treating.  Justin enjoyed the train ride and stared out the window intently pointing at everything.  Both boys were on high the entire time and while trick or treating through the village we got the same comments over and over again: oh they're enjoying their candy, you've got your hands full, it'll be more fun for you guys some day. Well we definitely had our hands full but the boys had a blast so it was worth it.
