5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:

1. Nate woke up and came in our room and when I told him there was no school that day he asked "Where are we going"?  He smiled briefly when I said "Ms. Heidi's" but then asked why he had to go to Ms. Heidi's and I said "Because school is closed" and he said "Aww, I'm very disappointed".

2. I left my ID and credit cards at home so I had to turn around and get them, making us run behind for the boys' music class. When we walked in the music room Nate yelled out to everyone "Hi guys, sorry that we were late".

3. Justin walked up to me, kissed me on the cheek and said "Mom I'm so proud of you".

4. The brouzins came over to go sledding but AJ was a little late so we went out before he got there. He was upset and crying when he got there and Nate heard the commotion and came in the house to see what was going on. When I told him he AJ was upset he said "Oh, maybe I can have a discussion with him".

5. Carl and I were discussing the house and how when the basement is finished he'll get his man cave, Nate will move into his old office and Nate's old room will become the guest bedroom/playroom.  The following conversation then happened:
Nate:  But why do I have to move Mom?
Me: So you'll get a bigger room.
Nate: But what about Dad's office?
Me: He's moving into the basement to get his man cave.
Nate: (looking at Carl) Dad are you gonna growl?
Justin: (growling) No Nathan, I'm gonna growl!
