As always, here are 5 special reasons I'm loving my boys this week:
1. Nate heard me tell Carl I was running out to get ice cream and got excited. When I got back Carl said Nate strapped himself into his seat as soon as I walked out the door and waited patiently for me to get back. And after scarfing down his bowl of ice cream he tried to eat mine.
2. Carl turned on Scooby Doo for the boys and after he hit play Nate yelled out "great job BJ".
3. Justin stepped on my stomach so I told him he hurt me and that he should apologize to me and he said "it's okay mommy, I'll fix it".
4. Carlene took the kids bowling and 4 frames into it Nate decided he had enough, took off his bowling shoes, grabbed his gym shoes and handed them to Carlene and said "it's time to go".
5. We're teaching J about privacy and how to knock before entering when the door is closed. So I told J to knock on my door and when he did I said "who is it" and he repeated who is it and opened the door. I shut the door and said J "I didn't say you can come in yet" so he knocked on the door and said "can I come in yet" and opened the door.
#5 sounds like that episode of the Cosby Show when Cliff tries to teach Vanessa and Rudy not to go in their room without first knocking. Do you remember this one? Cliff asks, "Who is it?" and the girls say, "Who it is."
